The Invitation Letter

Dear Friend,

I’m so glad I was able to get this letter to you. It’s been so long since we’ve gotten to talk and I’ve missed that.

I was wondering if you’d be my plus-one at a wedding banquet that is coming up? A friend of ours is throwing one for his son very soon. I’m not sure of the exact date or time yet, but it’s going to happen fast.

He says he will let me know as soon as it starts. I don’t want to miss it, so I will be in a hurry, but I’d love for you to go with me. It’s going to be the greatest wedding banquet ever, will you be ready when I come by to pick you up?

If you’re not then I’ll have to go without you, I cannot wait for anything or anyone once it starts. I won’t be late, as I am the guest of honor. So if you want to come with me, then definitely be watching for me. I will be coming quickly!

I want you to know that if you can’t make it, then I won’t be writing you anymore letters. This may be the last time we get to talk before I come to see if you’re ready. So please, for heavens sake make up your mind now! Either way, I’ll see you soon!
